Nasili

At an early age, Nasili, a Tongan boy living on a small island in the middle of the Pacific, realizes he loves to dance. In a culture where music and dance have been a custom passed down from generation to generation, Nasili finds it hard to pursue anything that breaks that tradition. Constantly reprimanded by his family for indulging in a “new kind of dance”, Nasili is eventually faced with the decision to succumb to the expectations of those who love him, or leave home and everything he knows in order to pursue his dream — to become a professional dancer.
